Hi so I've been running my PC wireless for about a year now. Recently moved and was able to use wired ethernet finally! However it won't connect its stuck on an unidentified network and no internet I've tried everything from updating drivers, installing them again. I've even purchased a brand new router from SKY and still no good. I've tried on my Xbox and still same issue. I've reset netsh all of that Jazz and when I took it to scan yesterday I tried their ethernet connection and it worked fine. I've reset router even factory reset it and still no luck. I'm pulling my hair out. Please help.

Disconnect everything.

Now connect this up to both ends of the cable (wall ports I assume) to test the wall ports.

Don't connect it to live equipment (router or pc).

Edit, is this a wire directly to the router ? Or using hard wired in wall connections etc.

Sounds like a cable problem.

Are there any static IP addresses set on the PC?
Is the wirless still enabled having both a wireless and wireless connection will produce odd results.

Take a photo of the setup (the router side, where the cables go in)

Upload it on imgur (free) and post the link here.

You haven't accidently disabled IPv4 on the Ethernet adapter?

Can you also check the NIC IPv4 settings are all set to Automatic and not Manual?

Post the output of ipconfig /all in a command prompt - there may be a couple pages, paste it all in a code block - and also open the adapter settings page and post a picture. It will look like this https://i.stack.imgur.com/nUVIz.png - that'll help find anything obvious.
