Urgent help needed!

Have just installed an optinal windows update called Accusys Inc, - Storage - ACS-6xxxx

This has for some reason stopped the internet from working showing no networks or anything?. I went to remove it from windows updates but can't see it anywhere :confused:

Does anyone know how I can fix this issue?

this is on an intel p67 motherboard

If you have a system restore point for before just restore to it, seems to solve the problem from what I've read.

Nice one, just hide that update on windows update so you dont accidently do it again, think its just installing the wrong driver or something on incorrect hardware.

This all started coz my pc seems to be missing these two items -

pci simple communications controller

universal serial bus (usb) controller

Doing my head in

Install the motherboard drivers?

The USB is probably the (NEC) USB 3 driver.

Thanks for all the help. I found an intel driver that seems to have got rid of them all, although the one on the motehrboard driver disc didn't and neither did the latest one on the motherboard website. bit rubbish really.
