URGENT HELP - NEW PC BUILD WON'T DISPLAY AT ALL??

I just upgraded my rig with a new motherboard and CPU

went from a z77-d3h & i5 3570k

to a Ryzen 7 and msi x370 gaming pro carbon motherboard,

everything plugged in properly, and I turn it on, but there is no display at all showing on my monitor, via display port or HDMI, and neither on my tv via HDMI,

the computer is on, and I tried opening & closing the cd drive, but I just cant get a display at all to show..

is it because its a new motherboard so HDMI & display port wont work yet till drivers are installed?

Please help I don't know what to do

But to clarify - are you using dedicated GFX card? You're not plugged into the motherboard?

Not sure how that will help the op? At the very least you would see bios messages (windows will use default drivers if none is installed so should work regardless)..

Only suggestion I have is reseat everything and try running mobo out of the case

Ryzen chips don't have inbuilt graphics at present.

All working now, I was using the rest of the old components from my old pc, my 1080ti etc, but all sorted.. the memory didnt like been in slots 1 & 2, moved to 3&4 and seems to be working now!... sorry for maknig 2 threads, didnt know where to post and I was in a panic
