URGENT Help now please

I had a mobo failure. The base unit went away as it was all under warranty. System came back and all working well for 2 days. Put it on this morning and it wont boot to windows. I can get into the bios so I doubt it is the new mobo. However fearing a major problem I attempted to get it to boot using he windows xp CD. Again just a blank screen. Any ideas?

Clear the CMOS, remove the battery etc... and set your BIOS to default.

I'm guessing you have an OEM XP bundle?

Keep trying to boot from the CD (check your BIOS boot settings) and run the recovery console (the second one, not the first).
