Urgent Help with Nvidia Display Drivers

Hi Guys,
This post may be better in Software section but never mind!!!
I am having a massive problem installing the Nvidia display drivers.
I have done a fresh install of XP Pro but when I install the drivers be it 91.33 or 91.45 Guru my monitor goes black as if in standby.
I have a 7950GX2 and had no probs prior to this. I have installed the 6.86 chipset drivers. When the display drivers are installing it recognises the GX2 for the first gpu but when it comes to the second gpu the monitor goes off but the computer stays powered on.
Whats wrong with it any ideas, I am confused.

I have 1205 Bios version, do i need to upgrade
I am at present installing NGO optimized driver v1.9137 which seems to be working I think. 2 ticks

I used to have this problem when I was running 2x6800 Ultras in SLI with some of the older nVidia drivers.

The screen would remain black after detecting the 2nd card.
This was resolved with later driver releases.

However at the time I discovered that even though the screen is black the OS & driver install should still be running.

If you can mange to keep you mouse cursor in the position where the dialog box appears asking to restart your system, then you should be able to get away with finishing the install successfully.

That's the way I got around it.
Don't know if that's any help at all, but worth a shot as it sounds like the same problem.
