Hi Guys,

So my desktop computer has finally decided to blow up and that leaves me without a computer so im in a bit of a panic to sort out a new one.

Im currently debating replacing my desktop or buying a macbook pro but i thought i would get a quote just in-case i picked to buy a desktop.

This is the order i was quoted earlier although my budget has gone up to around £800 more if seriously needed but the GFX card is sold out is there an equivalent or better for a similar price and is there any improvements i should put on this order before i arrange delivery for tomorrow?

I suggest you re-calculate your build based on current prices.

You're in for at least one shock.

The W7/HDD bundle is now £190.39 inc VAT compared to £101.39 inc VAT when you priced it up.

This is the re-calculated Estimate any advice is welcome.

The case is not included in this price as i am yet to find one that i like.

So that's over £100 increase and you haven't even included a case.

By the time you've finished the build is going to cost £150 more than when it was first priced up

can you reuse the hard disk from your blown up pc by any chance? Will save you £100(for case + 8gb ram), also if the dvdrw(if you have one) is sata then that's another ~£20 saved).
also if you don't plan on sli in the future maybe drop the mb to z68ap-d3, or msi are doing cashback offer on all but the top(z68a-g80 g3) gen3(the ones with the g3 in the name) motherboards.
