Hi all, I've been having trouble getting a monitor output so I swapped my GPU, screen and cable with ones I know that work. Unfortunate it has now gone like this:

Not sure what could be the issue as everything works fine on my other PC? the BIOS also displays fine too.

Specs:
GB Sniper 3 G1 with latest F7 BIOS
Nvidia MSI 560 GTX Ti
Xeon 1230 V2
Corsair 1050W psu

More details:

Everything is powering on but there is no display output as one of my isues.

The monitor has been working so far until last night after I restarted after installing Ubuntu 12. Now there is no output to the display, not even a BIOS. The GPU fans are working.

I have swapped the GPU out with one from my main PC inc the monitor and cable. The output is very fuzzy like this: https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=8d80e...9A!69644&sff=1. In this setup I can get to the BIOS fine.

The mystery deepens. I changed the PCi slot to 16-2 and it was fine. Then I had to restart and no display output again. Tried a swap and still nothing.

might be a faulty pci slot on the motherboard. if it works on one, but not the other, then that is likely to be the problem

It means your monitor is on the way out.
My DGM 24" does that on start up, along with flashing/flickering. Takes about 20 minutes to get back to the way it should be.

I took my PC down to a repair shop and they said that my GPU is too old and my mb does not support an 8 bus. It was also giving 1 long and 2 short post beeps which is a GPU error. So i bought a new GPU and it works fine.
