Hey i have just brought a new motherboard a Abit AB9 Quad GT and instead of the usual 4 pin connector to the motherboard there appears to be a 8 pin ... and my psu does not have one of these 
... i noticed that the 4 pin fits in 4 of the 8 pins. will this work?
