just changed motherboard and cpu now want to format my harddrive and reinstall windows years ago i used to use a boot disk wich took you in to dos command but cant seem to do that with windows 7 i need to get this up and running tonight

go into the motherboard bios and set the optical drive as the first boot device with the harddrive as the second, then stick the win7 disk in, it will tell you to press any key to boot from the disk, then just follow the instructions.
yep sussed it thanks i wanted to format the drive so i left click on the hard drive and it gave me the option one thing i dont understand it that there is a partition on the ssd that is for system info or something its 100meg is that for the boot sector?
