Turned PC on just now and i got a long BIOS beep... completely unexpected (thought it was something to do with OC Temps and it being like 30'c in this room).... So i reset CMOS to set settings back to original clocks... and i now have No BIOS beep at all... No Boot.. nothing.... The PC turns on and all of the fans come on.... but No beep. If i reboot on this black screen, i get the same long continuous BIOS beep.... Its so strange considering everything was 100% Fine when i turned the PC off this morning.... Any ideas?

I take it you don't have any spares to test it. Anything in the mobo manual to indicate what the beep may mean?

From my experience of having this motherboard... Continuous Beep seems to indicate corrupt BIOS Settings.... but this could be fixed by resetting CMOS right...? New Mobo Time do you think?

P.S.... Yeah... Taken all but 1 Stick of Ram out etc.... Still nothing....

Does sound like a mobo problem if you can't even get into your BIOS (since you tried memory with one stick only as well).

what board is it , after a quick google on beeps got this for award bios :
1 Long : Memory malfunction
1 Long 2 Short : Video malfunction
1 Long 3 Short : Video/motherboard malfunction
Continuous Beeping : Memory or video malfunction
Other Beeps : Bad system RAM

If i reset CMOS settings and then just let it try and boot, it comes up with "CMOS Checksum Error". Am i right in thinking thats the sign of a flat BIOS battery? or a Corrupt BIOS module?
