Just noticed my website has gone down...

What can I do? who do I contact?

The coding and everything looks fine

OMG - please help me

Well, based on looking at the site.....

Try http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

If that says its down, check with hosting, if they say its ok, check that you can access the DB, if that doesnt work create a file that you can visit on your site ( just a simple html page) to see if you can view that.

I uploaded a simple html page and I couldnt access it

You'll have to be more specific.

Can you give us a run down with examples what you are trying to do then we can help you out a bit better.

Do you think your sites down because you uploaded a new HTML page that you can't view?

nothing was touched, nothing was changed...

I just tried to access the URL now and received an error "the site is under construction"

all I am doing is typing the url address into firefox and it says "the site is under construction"

i tried just now to upload a simple page, test.html and could not access that eiter...

please help

you might have to wait for dns to propogate across the t'internet...it takes a while for a new site to appear!

Who built it? Is it a CMS?

Sounds like either your content has been removed, or the default document for the folder has changed to something not matching whats in the root directory.

How long have you had the site? Have you paid the hosting for the year?

thanks guys found out the hosting company disabled it due to outstanding payment which was paid lol

what idiots they didnt even ask or double check
