Urgent Help with driver issues.

Can someone help me with the following. Never had such a headache before sorting things for people.

A friends Toshiba Satellite c850 1d2
PSCBWE
Re installed Win 7 64.
I cant get it on the internet as it doesn't have a network adapter, tried downloading some from toshiba website, still no joy.

dont loads of laptops in my time. but always could find the drivers etc. This has me stumped

Maybe some one can help me out here.

Looks like you're missing the chipset drivers, google the laptop part number, find out what chipset it has and google the drivers for that, hopefully thewn you'll be able to download them direct from the Intel or AMD website depending on the chipset.

as for the ethernet and network controller, chances are that's either going to be Realtek or intel, so just try the basic Realtek ethernet drivers first, one will be the built in wifi and the other the RJ45 port.

And if that doesn't work, try searching for drivers using the hardware ID from device manager.

An offline driver installer like https://drp.su/en/info/driverpack-offline should include all the missing drivers.
