Hey guys, i just got an antec Kuhler and upon installing it I did something stupid without even noticing.

Using a SG05 i was planning to screw the rad onto the front and then using the push pins of my separately bought fan tack it on the back.

So i thus used the 30mm screws or so provided and screwed through the unit, low and behold i notice i've punched a hole through the radiator lattice from front to back.... meaning they left active folds behind a non shielded screw hole, i.e. nothing stopping you from going right thru...

So have i forced a leak in my radiator ? (as of yet no water has even seeped out nvm gushed out (using it in a plastic wrap [not near cpu] ) ...

i just noticed what you mean , downgraded from a major ***kup to stupid rush of blood to the head mistake .... the heat pipes on the kuhler are obvious, and i already suspected the flow would be stupidly low if it passed through the fins

Just grabbing dinner but i'll throw up a pic of the rad after, thank god, felt like such a nab destroying my rad no more than 2 hours after setting down to get it installed (sugos are small)...

Your not the first and you definitely wont be the last to do that and by the sounds of things you got away with it :)

This is a common enough occurance that a note on this sort of thing should perhaps be in the w/c'ing sticky? Something along the lines of

"Do not drive screws through your radiator"
