URGENT!!! odd windows 7 one for you

ok, so got a laptop here, running windows 7, that wont display images in menus and things properly. pictures are fine, but buttons etc its not showing, HELP!!!!

google chrome, IE seems to be semi normal (apart from internet options) but the search buttons are visable

Try running "sfc /scannow" from an elevated command prompt.
