I downloaded the iWork '09 trial and since it just expired I purchased a serial from the apple site...
when i open numbers it acts as normal, perfectly fine, but when i open Pages the app looks open (light under the dick icon, and pages shows up on the menu bar) but no template chooser, file -> new has no effect (nothing happens) and all in all it just seems dead...
this happened before i bought the serial so figured it was just something to do with the trial running out, then i bought the serial and entered it into numbers, still no difference, so i uninstalled it all (using forklift which took all the preference files with it, including the com.apple.iwork09 file which i think stores the serial info) and reinstalled and its still the same
I have stuff that i really need to do this morning and this is causing some right grief, the files wont open in my old iwork 08 since they were created in 09 so i'm a bit stuffed
any ideas?
