URGENT - PSU fan facing up or down in case?

Hey Guys,

Building my new PC today.... am stuck!!

The Antec Truepower PSU fits at the bottom of my P180 case... in a bracket

Thing is - is the fan on the top of the PSU (as you would see it in the pics) supposed to point up or down.

I set it to point UP - but the instructions make no refrence to whats right - and the sticker on the side are upside down now so im very confused.

Any ideas?

In my Antec 900 I had mine pointing up.

Yep, it mounts upside down. If it was the correct way up (With the fan to the bottom), then the fan would not be sucking air out of the case, it would be blocked and overheat and more than likely burn out.

Yeap as the posts indicate above some cases make you fit it upside down

The part the PSU sits in is raised about an inch so you can put the PSU either way up. I used to put it so that fan was facing up as there was slightly more room.
