Urgent psu help

Any one heard of g7 power supplies are they Any good? My m8 just got a 550w one for his build and he has a gtx 470 I'm worried this psu isn't that great and could blow up

Well consdiering a Google search pulls up a electronics stores page, whom aren't exactly known (to me) for their cheapness, and I can find those PSUs very cheaply from them, I think you can see where this is going...

As sold by the company with similarly sounding name to a fictional TV holiday camp?

I don't expect that it will be a very good unit. That company gas huge markups on products so that particular PSU at around 40 quid would actually retail about 20 at a store like ocuk.

I couldnt find any info about them besides that company.


It probably won't blow up but I probably wouldn't run a SLI configuration on it.

Going to make him return it and getter a better one from overclockers or lrt him keep it as he won't sli in the future maybe
