Urgent question: Cloning HDD

Hey all, i'm just about to clone my OS HDD with Acronic Migrate Easy to my new HDD which came today. I'm already to go but i suddenly thought, do i need to format my new HDD first in windows? Or does Acronis do that for you?

Nope, you don't. It usually wipes the drive before it starts a copy anyway.

Thanks vidda. Really wasn't sure about it and didn't want to go ahead with the clone then find out i needed to fully format the new drive first.
