Urgently need a Solaris patch

I urgently need Solaris patch 124861-15 (or later version) to allow me to install Oracle 11g.

We do have an Oracle support contract (I work for a local authority) but we can't log in for reasons unknown and Oracle are being hopeless.

Can anyone with Solaris support download this for me and put it on dropbox or similar? I would be extremely grateful.

I doubt you'll get any takers - you're basically asking someone to circumvent the terms of their support agreement to provide you with a patch on the strength of a claim to entitlement. Might not seem like a big deal, but in my view its highly questionable.

I'd concentrate your effort on getting access to your entitlement. If you are fully paid up, it shouldnt take much more than a couple of phonecalls or an email to resolve.

My colleague has spoken to Oracle more than 10 times today. Their call centre support is absolutely diabolical. They have finally accepted we're paid up - but our request for a support centre login "will come through when it's done"!

They have accepted a support call for an engineer to send us the patch - but when they'll respond is anyone's guess!
