Urgh! What is happening?

I'm trying to play Metro 2033 after just downloading it from steam but it keeps saying that I don't have PhysXloader.dll, this is driving me insane and I just want to play the game! Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it???

I guess you could always try downloading the dll file if all else fails.

dont you have to navigate to the nvidia installer, delete it and restart?

You need to go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\metro 2033\install, install the physx driver and then reboot.

I got the same error, all I did ws reboot, and it was fixed.

Yeah the actual fix is already in the Steam folder.

I've learned that most of the physX fixes and driver fixes are already downloaded on the Steam install folder.

Just take a look inside the game folder and you'll find it. Give your PC a reboot and you're sorted.

All I did was re-download, install drivers and then re-boot, It works now and the game is better than expected

Pretty sure rebooting was SOP not too long ago although my sense of time is totally non-existent. There just don't seem to be any truly memorable events anymore.
