US cd import?

I'm looking at importing a cd from the US because I can't find it anywhere online, but before I place the order I wondered if a US cd would actually work over here. Are they regionalised like dvds?

Am I being stupid or is this the case?

Yeah, absolutely fine. You only need worry about Australian CDs, as they have to be played upside down.

only problem with US CD's is that when you have finished listening to them you have to rewind them by hand.

Apart from that they work fine.
