Potentially silly question - I'll ask it anyway.
Anything to stop me using a Firestick from the US in the UK?

Brother was looking for a Firestick - 20% Ebay code earlier this week and he's sourced a still sealed, brand new Firestick 4k for £32.
It's arrived, sealed in retail packaging with a US to UK plug in the box - so the power issue is resolved.

Just a matter of plugging it into the UK, logging into Amazon account and then installing all the apps for the UK - Netflix, BBC, ITV, C4 etc?
If won't be anything silly and have US channel apps and no way to remove them or to install UK ones?

You can change the region on them, depends which Amazon account you login in with. I've switched mine back and forth between UK and Germany a few times.

Popped around to brother's today - plugged in the US stick with the ethernet adaptor. At first screen selected English (UK) and that was it - logged into UK Amazon account, downloaded Netflix, iPlayer, ITV Hub etc
So indeed, just worked. Cannot grumble at the 4k Stick for £32.
