US Kinect - Any issues?

I am heading to America in a week and a half and was wondering if anyone had experience in using a US Kinect with their 360.

I have an older model elite, so will it work?

you would need to get hold of a power supply for the kinect if you are using it on an older style xbox 360. ebay or MM?
