Anyone play this back in the mid 90s? I just dug out my copy to play through DOSBox, and it's still brilliant, and actually fun to play for > 10 minutes (unlike a lot of games from ages ago, I find).

Oh yes, played it loads back in the day. Not sure I've still got the CD though, although I do have USAF lying around which doesn't work at all :(.

Lol yeah I used to play this, I was just a kid at the time so the funnest thing seemed to be flying really low upside down and ejecting... or flying sideways past a building and ejecting into it....

Good times

Oh yeah baby.

Loved this one especially the Top Gun-esque one liners from the co-pilot.

All those Janes/EA combat games were superb. Well overdue an update and re-release IMHO.

I had Janes USNF 97, I think I may still have it in a box, or I may have "charity-shopped" it a while ago.

Definitely well due an update - fast jets off a carrier with modern, up to date graphics and excellent realism would be superb!

Hehe, yeah, the cockpit chatter is great.
I quite enjoy live-video bits in between missions too, even though the quality is poor by today's standards.
