Bloody hell! She's got future world #1 written all over her.

Up to #32 from 150 or whatever it was before the tournament.
 
Yet to drop a set, returned serve as well as Djokovic, first ever qualifier to reach a major final and only 18 years old. Navratilova was right when she said she has no weakness yet you would expect her only to get better.
 
I think the stat about no qualifier has ever made he final of a slam mens or womens really sums up how big a deal this is!

and shes not lost a set!
 
I haven't looked forward to watching women's tennis in years but this tournament has definitely changed that.

Tough final to call, hard to go against Raducanu after that semi-final performance.

Wow, just woke up to see she won. Absolutely sensational stuff, and she'll be the favourite Vs Fernandez. What an opportunity :)
 
Just watched the highlights and my god she's got some power. She hits so flat, her timing is sensationally good, her movement is perfect, her serving is almost flawless, her net play is excellent and above all, she seems mentally tough.. there's seemingly no part of her game that needs improving :o
 
Must admit, I assumed she would fall at the semi final but only because she's exceeded expectations so much.

Lol easily over taken Watson and Konta in the rankings.

Would be great to have a genuine world class tennis player in the womens game from Britain. Fingers crossed for the final and she can continue this form.
 
People are quick these days to point a finger at Konta but she's had a bad run of luck with injuries - her ranking has naturally dropped, but she did get to #4 in the world.

It's not so easy to defend Watson though, every time I watch one of her matches she loses.
