It's not so easy to defend Watson though, every time I watch one of her matches she loses.

That includes the three qualifiers for Raducanu

Fernandez has certainly had to battle in each of her last 4 matches, with each one going to 3 sets.

Raducanu has only needed 2 sets for each of her last 4 matches, but the quality of opponent isn't as high across the 4 (imo).

Fernandez - Sabalenka, Svitolina, Kerber, Osaka
Raducanu - Sakkari, Bencic, Rogers, Sorribes Tormo

For the time being, I'm going for a Fernandez win.

Obviously I'm hoping Raducanu wins it in 2, but at the moment I'm thinking it'll be 3 tight sets with Fernandez's fight taking her over the line, exactly as it has done in those 4 matches.

Anyone remember Konta losing that French open semi to a very average player by making **** poor decisions, repeating them and not learning anything along the way.
