US Open 2021

The weirdest thing is that despite the fact that this is a remarkable story, it all just feels so unsurprising, almost like she was designed to be there. She's a bit special
 
I think only football has enough money for anyone with talent to come through regardless of money.

Even then it takes a fair bit of money for the training to get many players to the required level now. Sure, once they get to club level they’ll get a lot of support, but it’s more difficult than it’s ever been. I know first hand having taught several kids who play at club/national level. Not quite to tennis levels obviously.

was thinking the same thing lol, was going to rush to stick some cash on her but sky odds are 1/10 lol

Fair play to her, I’m not a tennis lover (watched a few Wimbledon finals over the years) but that was enthralling !
