US PS3 Question!

My brother is planning to visit the US in a few days and he and I were wondering if it would be worth picking up a PS3 there. Before we do, we would like to know a few things though.

a) Is it legal?
b) Will it be safe to use on UK mains sockets?
c) Will UK games play on the console, when they are released?
d) Any other restrictions?

I would really appreciate some insight into this. Last console I myself bought was an N64, so I've been out of the game for some time.

LOL, I was thinking that too, but he's pretty adamant that he can get one. He's going to be visiting Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; hopfully there arn't many gamers there! Eitherway I think its worth a try.

I think it will be more a case of "will there be enough units hitting the states to get a couple to that particular location".

The only hope he will have of getting one is, as I have said, camping out infront of a shop for about a week and hope he doesn't get shot.
