US36 booting

Hey all

I'm running a Asus Striker 2 formula, (780i nvidia) and I'm trying to get my C300 64gb booting via my US36's sata 6 port.

I already have windows 7 installed on the SSD, with the latest US36 drivers installed, and the USB 3 ports are working fine, but I can't get the sata 6 to work at all? The card is fine, as its just come back from RMA testing. The striker 2 is running the latest BIOS revision.

If anyone out there is familiar with asus bios's and knows a method of getting my C300 booting via my US36 I'd really like to know! I had it all working before, but that took hours and hours of trial and error in the Bios that lost its logical elimination stradegy. I'm only running one IDE dvd drive (that I disconnected), and the C300, and I've tried disabling sata controller in an attempt of forcing it to recognize my C300 through my US36, as it worked last time, but this time its not working.

I don't know whether my mobo is capable of handling hot swappable drives, so I really don't wanna plug anything into the sata 6 controller whilst on after my last burning session with what I thought were the right PSU power cables:rolleyes:
