USA PS3 Import

Hey guys, im heading to the USA in a few weeks but i was wondering if i brought back a ps3 would i be able to play uk games and what are the disadvantages of importing??

YES

Warranty issues, ntsc play back - meaning uk ps2 games and dvd wont work.

If you have to send it back? Sony Uk might not help so you will have to post 7.2kg of heavy machinery back to the US and that means money...

Don't you mean Sony UK WONT help you?

And I'm fairly sure that Sony US won't return it to you if your outside the US?

Sony will not touch u with a US PS3 , I know from last time , they are a nightmare company to deal with , even when my UK ps2 went wrong i had to fight them with letter`s ect

If you want a PS3 from the US, best idea is if you know any family to get you one , that way you can just send it back to them if it goes **** up

The present exchange rate should be quite favourable, so I would.
