USA Wii

Going to NYC tomorrow and was wondering if its worth my while picking up a Wii while im over there are they region locked?

If i could get a ps3 i would but no chance

they are region locked i beleive, and i think it may be a bit difficult to get one (they seem to be selling well), but not impossible by any means as Nintendo seem to be getting additional stocks out in reasonably large numbers.
