USB 1.1 or 2.0?

Get the motherboard model number,
Open google,
Type in the model number,
See results, see specs for board.

Job done.

Is there a setting for changing between the two in the BIOS?

If there is then it's USB2.0, if not it's 1.1.

I'm pretty sure that's how it works.... :o

I'd go for the lazy way of plugging in a device that is known to be USB2.0 compatible and if Windows doesn't tell you "This device could work faster" then jobs a good'un. Or either of the above two options should work just as well. :)

//edit in light of the second post get them to go into Device Manager (Windows Key + Pause/Break is the shortcut to System Properties and go from there) and see what is listed under USB Serial Bus Controllers. :)

I'm fairly sure the USB controller will have the word "Enhanced" in it, in Device Manager - ie, mine comes up as "Intel (R) 82801EB Enhanced Host Controller - 24DD".
