USB 3.0/2.0 pendrives

I am looking to pickup a new USB pendrive (16Gb+) and I am after some recommendations on what to get.

Are 3.0 drives any better than 2.0?

If you have USB 3 ports and get the right pendrive then it can make a huge difference.

The youtube videos of this pendrive have shown read speeds over 100MB/s and writes over 80MB/s

I use an Asus X58 Sabertooth with 2x USB 3.0 ports.

I did see the Kingston drive before I posted the thread. I have to admit that I doubted the quoted speeds.

I am pretty sure ASUS and Asrock use a faster usb control chip.

One thing to be wary of, is you get pretty much what you pay for! If you go for an unbranded pen drive (like some E-retailers supply) you'll be lucky to see much more than twice the speed of a USB2 stick. Still quicker but....

PS. The one I bought gets no where near the advertised speeds. And yes, I've tried it on a couple of totally different machines.
