usb 3.0 question...

I have a

Gigabyte EX58A-UD5 Intel X58 motherboard which i beleive provides usb 3.0 ?

Am i correct in thinking I will only see any speed increase if i plug a usb 3.0 compatible device in there??

what 3.0 devices are out there at the minute out of interest :S ?

I have the ultima vanquish system at present..
are there separate usb 3.0 ports on the system? or do all the usb's support 3.0 ?

1/4. Two USB 3 ports in back panel.

2. Correct.

3. Don't know any. And as including USB 3 to chipsets might take into next year device manufacturers might not hurry.

A couple of external Western digital HDD's are available that support USB3 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=1657&catid=1659&subid=1715

You may not see any speed improvements but you can read and write at the same time which is quite nice
