With USB 3.0 being a crucial part of my build due to peripherals that I use for work (among other things!) it is essential that a new case comes with front facing ports...
The only cases that I can see which have an inbuilt solution are the Antec 900 & 1200. To give myself a little more selection, I thought I'd poll the folks here on how easy it is to install a front plate to one of the drive bays to handle USB 3.0.

Thanks in advance,
Medoway

Some manufacturers are doing upgrade kits for their cases now. It's usually only a case of undoing a couple of screws, removing the current front inputs and replacing them with the USB 3.0 version.

Failing that, it's easy enough to fit a 5.25" bay device (if they are available yet).

Thanks for the speedy replies. Having had a bit of a browse, I'd say that conversion to inbuilt is only just coming on to the market but the drive bays seem an OK alternative.
Atm, I think I'm looking at the Antec 902 v3 as it fulfils my need; but it's good to know that there are some other options. Have about two weeks before laying down the final build!

how about I send you my front usb 3.0 panel for my Msi motherboard and you put it in a 3.5" drive bay (were its meant to go) and you connect a usb 3.0 that way?
