I'm looking for a USB 3.0 adapter card to give me a USB 3.0 header inside the case.

Yes looking for a header connector but don't really want to replace the motherboard.

Unfortunaly I've not seen any expansion cards with a header like the one you get on motherboards.

I've just seen that Coolermaster are selling a cable for €2.95 that converts two USB 3.0 sockets into a 19 pin header.

Bitfenix also do one, does anyone know of a usb 3.0 card that has an internal header on it? Or even a cable with 2 headers on it? If you see what I mean, sorry to thread hijack :/

Both of the above cables/adapters appear to be the exact reverse of the Coolermaster cable.

A HafX front USB3.0 cables normally go straight out the rear of the case and into the motherboards rear panel, the Lian li above allows you to connect it direct to the board internal header.

But a HafX comes with an adapter for internal use, quite a few cases just pass the front cable out the back so an adapter such as above will free up the motherboard rear USB3.0

The OP was a request for an add-in card that would provide an internal 19 pin USB 3.0 header.

I thought the Coolermaster cable would allow a more easily available card that provides two internal standard USB 3.0 sockets to be used instead.

It was something I was also looking into because the case I'm fancying has a 19 pin header plug, and my motherboard hasn't got a suitable socket (too old).
