**USB 3.1 TYPE C TO TYPE A CABLE RECALL**

Hi Guys.

We have got to do a recall on the OcUK Value 1m USB 3.1 type C to type A Cable (USB3C-921) we only have 5 out in the field so this post is to get across to everyone who has bought one or is thinking of buying one.

We will be contacting all customer who have bought one shortly by email and phone as well.

The product will be removed from the website until the new product arrives on the 1st May.

At a guess...cheap Chinese knock-off, prone to rocking a Human Torch impression.

Yeah probably the wrong pull up resistor.

Defect: The type C connector has been manufactured with a 10K ohm resistor; this should be a 56K ohm resistor.

I am looking for a Type A male to Type C female adapter myself, are you planning to stock anything like that?

We currently only stock the Type C to A. I don't think we will be getting them but I will look into it in the morning to see if anyone has them available and let you know as it could be an option.
