Hi all, I have an old Gigabyte EX58 UD3R. Now I've never had any USB plug in device that required USB 3 so I've never worried about it. Recently I bought an external USB HDD for storing my photos. It takes a long time to transfer data in RAW format. I looked into USB 3 and found that my mobo does support it. I looked in bios and USB 3 is enabled. Now my question is .. I have an old Antec 1200 case that only uses old USB 2 on the front. I assume that the cable/plugs are not usb rated. I know my mobo has a single USB 3 on the rear (too much of a pain to keep trying to find it and I have a keyboard plugged in to it anyway) .. so I am thinking of getting a USB 3 adaptor for the front panel. So 2 questions:
1. Whats a good brand full bay panel that can take a minumum of 2 USB 3 devices with power?
2. Which USB port on the mobo do I use as it's not really clear to me what to use?

The board I have (rev 2.0) does have usb 3 .. from what I can make of it, there are 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back .. but I'm struggling to see where it says there is a USB 3.0 header on the mobo itself ..

So, having found this much out, I assume the only way to get USB 3.0 to the front of the case is to put in a separate front panel and run a cable out the back to plug into the USB 3.0 port.
ok .. so that leads me to the question of what do I buy in the way of USB 3.0 front panel that can connect via USB 3.0 plug ??
