Usb, application controlled fan speeds.

I was looking at fan speed controllers and thinking why has no one made one that links into a usb port on the mobo and has an application to control speeds etc?

I have bought an Antec 620 Kuhler lately and its older brother the 920 has a usb connection for controlling the pump and fans etc with an app. It seems like a logical move.

I have 5 fans that would be nice to control. So I went looking for a box you could wire into the case and control from the OS. Not found a lot.

I guess it’s just a case of settling for some knobs or a touch screen.

Anyone seen anything like this?

Also is it advisable or even possible to connect your molex case fans to the fan headers on the mobo and control and monitor speed?

I would remove the link before a mod sees it. (it's against forum rules)

If you really want an internal fan controller, i think the "mCubed T Balancer Classic" may fit the bill.
