Hi all, as the title suggests im having trouble with my usb. I have a msi neo 4 platinum mobo wich allows upto 10 usb ports but appers to have only one controller doing all of them cos when i use my web cam and headset i get the error mesage ''USB HAS EXCEDED ITS BANDWIDTH''.

To resolve this it says i should plug it in to another controller but it dosn't matter where i plug it in it still comes up on that controller as there only appers to be one. Is this a comon problem with msi or is somthing.

Thanks for any advise

P.S its does show another controller that is named standard enhanced pci to usb host controller but i think this must be an mistake cos i dont have a pci to usb card.

Possible that the ports are as you said hubs connected to the chipset, and is using over 480mbps. Its also possible that the hubs low on power. Check the current power output and maximum output.
