Does anyone think this is a good idea! I thought about stripping down an msi usb bluetooth adaptor and then fitting it inside my sn45gv2. Would I have to make an aerial for it or will it be fine as it is?

I'm a little biased here because I installed bluetooth with zero effort whatsoever but I wouldn't bother with an aerial. I just used a bracket and tied it to another cable in there:

Despite the metal chassis it can maintain a pretty decent headset connection around the room. File transfers to/from the phone are a little slow unless it's on the desk next to the PC though.

This is exactly what I had in mind m8. only difference is I will try and fit it in the front behind the bezel and I took the casing off. The casing was battered anyway and the board will fit into the front better without it (I hope)

can't see it being a problem, ran my microsoft bluetooth keyboard and mouse from the dongle mounted inside the case (was fed up of disconnecting it each time i moved the pc)

i believe there was a shuttle bluetooth dongle you could get fitted that sat inside the case, using the same usb feed as the wireless dongle, dug up some information here: http://eu.shuttle.com/archive/en/pn21.htm#bluetooth
