I'm going to holiday and as it's in the uk, I feel I may need something to do.

So can somebody tell me what the best and cheapest pay as you go usb dongle ???

Thanks

3: I find these poor. Suffer frequent dropouts. Cheap. £10 / 1gb / 30 days
Vodaphone: Top up doesnt expire. 1gb costs £15 / 1gb / lasts until used (Must use it once every 90 days)
Virgin: Just got it, seems pretty quick.

Thats all Ive used!

Recommend the Voda over 3 though.

Three dongle for free (£5 p&p) here

You can actually mod these so it isnt on three anymore, get yourself an iphone sim on 02, put £10 on it and you'll have unlimited inet for a year ( usually lasts about 9 months)

Ive tried vodafone and t-mobile, t-mob has knocked voda into the last century (tho in ym case both are using integrated wwan on ericson card) - interesting pricing also, pay for a day, week or month at a time.

Vodaphone wins for me,with the non expiring top ups! (well, you do need to use it occasionally!)
£15 for a GB

Where are you going? The first thing you would need to do is take a look at mobile broadband coverage for where you'll be using the service most. If you're going to the countryside, you may well find you aren't in a 3G area.

I have Vodafone Mobile Broadband and it's good in their 3G areas, but I have been in the countryside where no coverage was available.

Rgds
