USB C Cables and Accessories

OnePlus offering refunds for those of us that bought their cable - http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/1...-out-of-spec-will-offer-refunds-to-customers/

I've put my application in.

OnePlus is offering refunds for their USB-C cables bought extra.

Thanks ;)

I've just put in for a refund on the orzly 4 pack I bought, as they aren't compliant. We'll see what the response is.

Apparently their new 4 pack is compliant.

sorry dude, didn't realize you posted already (with full story)

I've put in my application too, free cables, not bad. I'll use them till the decent USB C get cheaper, as OP2 is only USB C device I own anyway.

I can confirm the new Orzly cables are compliant -

The cables themselves are a bit thicker too. Feel more premium.

Is there any way to edit a thread title? I'm annoyed I named it wrong, should be "USB Type-C Cables and Accessories"

Bought a belkin USB 2.0 A-C cable. Fast charges my 5x on a bog standard galaxy s4 charging plug. Cost a pretty penny though.

Is that definitely a good thing? I'm still trying to get my head around this cable situation (figured I need to after ordering a 5X), and I'm sure I read earlier that if you have a non-compliant one it may say fast charging even when it isn't, because it is trying to take that much power, or something....

I got a set of them as well & think there ace, nice feel, good quality & they work a treat.

Well I was looking at a single (and apparently compliant) cable for £3.99, but think I may as well grab that pack of 4 Orzly! :)

Anything I need to be aware of if buying a type-c to type-c cable? I'd just like a longer one than comes with the phone. (normally keep a charger plugged into a socket below my desk and the cable barely reaches up to the desk)

Type C powerbank from Anker, could be one to review.

Not worth buying at current price though (£32).
