USB cable for connecting Q2 to PC

My motherboard has USB 3.2 Gen 1 (type A), 3.2 Gen 2 (type A) and 3.2 Gen 2 (type C)

What would be the optimal cable and USB socket to use? I assume the 3.2 type C, or won't it matter?

it won't matter as long as you buy a decent cable. Probably loads recommended in this thread or or the accessories thread.

works fine £15. bit short (10ft) for a headset cable some might say but for sims where you just sit down it's fine, for room scale games where you move i use Air Link.

Which USB socket do you use, if you have a choice? (USB 3.1, 3.2, Gen1, Gen 2 etc)

tbh off the top of my head idk sorry, i just plugged it into a free usb port in the back of my pc. i forget which 1's are which.
