USB cable

What is the maximum length for a usb cable, before it loses any of its conductivity. I need it to run a USB wifi http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-058-LS adapter from my room to as near a window as i can.

Not sure personally, but how long do you want it? I know you can get 10metre extensions.

i have a 10 meter one, 20 meters would just do but 30 would be great, Also does joining them say 3 together make for it worse.

The USB spec' is a little vague, but 5m is generally accepeted as the longest recommended length. You can gain greater length by joining a few 5m cables together with a powered hub, not sure how many of the top of my head.
