Usb cameras and Android 10

I have one of those cheap endoscope cameras that plugs into your phone.
It worked ok on my old phone but not on my new one which has android 10.
There seems to be an issue in general with usb cameras and 10.
Anyone managed to get 1 working ?

Also having the same issue. Endoscope worked fine on my tablet on Android 9, now doesn't on the same tablet with Android 10.

Been looking into this as I was trying to use an external USB camera with MS Teams.
It seems Google blocked it in Android 10; no idea why and no idea if its coming back but its bloody annoying!

That's maddening. I use my endoscope for animal rescue and currently can't.

Okay, just got mine working again. Any app using sdk level 28 or greater wont work.

You need Inskam v1.0.156 which you can get from here -> https://apkpure.com/inskam/com.ypcc.otgcamera/versions

Uninstall your current version, install this and turn off auto update for this app.

Or a version of whatever app you are trying to use that predates November 2019.
