Hey hey,

We have a new usb memory card reader (the ones with multiple slots for different cards) and it seems to be taking priority over the user's mapped network drives, ie the drive mapped to some resouces on the network is being used by the card.

Before i go and do it would the best solution be to use Computer Management to change the drive letters...reason i ask is i'm not 100% sure it'll remember to use these driver letters each time the USB device is plugged in.

Thanks! :)

I will try it..but the user's office isn't free until the morning so thought i'd check here first and maybe save me some hassle. :)

I can understand what you say about what drive letters the reader has assigned..but currently the ones it seems to like are already mapped and it bumps them off!..cheeky fellow.

I was just looking for some confirmation that assigning the reader other driver letters would be remembered when it's plugged in next time and not go for the network ones again.
