thanks to some dodgy drivers for a new adapter, all of a sudden I can't use my wired gaming mouse through the same 4-port hub as my (old, trusty, stable) wireless adapter.
The mouse keeps connecting/disconnecting.
I have already removed all traces of the new adapter from my system, done a system restore, and finally I went to safe mode and uninstalled all usb devices, hubs and controllers.
Just got back into windows 7 64bit OS, and still have the problem
any ideas?
edit: oops, was testing plug sockets earlier and removed the usb power plug
