USB Converter?

Hi Guys, my sister in law has an "older" PC.

I havent seen it, but she says it has USB 1 ports on it.

She has a new camera, which has a USB 2.0 lead, as well as other peripherals she would like to connect.

Is there a form of converter to aid this?

i may be incorrect but i thought usb1's could excetp newer versions of cables but usb 2's couldnt except older technology. correct me if im wrong, just ask her to try it will be slow but unless you update her comp to accept usb 2 cables there is nothing you can do.

Universal Serial Bus, any usb connecter can go in any port just 1.1 is slower than 2

It will work as they are backword compatible, but will be a lot slower.

USB 2 @ 480Mbits/s vs USB @ 12Mbits/s max

Lots of large files will be painfully slow, an add-on USB-2 card would speed it up:
