Do any of these actually work? :)

I've got one here that optimistically claims it will keep your cup of tea at 50-60 degrees. I've had a cup of water on it for 3 hours and its not even warm lol :(

The plate you put the cup on gets "almost tepid". If you dip your finger in a glass of ice before touching it, you can almost detect some heat.

I don't own one, but I mock the guy at work who does.

Yes but a PSU on your desk surrounded by mugs of tea isn’t a very good idea
Besides I want convenience! :)

Can you buy cup warmers that don't draw their power from a 25w USB power source?

Get a water cooling system and put tea leaves into the radiator. If you have a tap on the side with a water input on the other side of it then you could have constant tea, of course you'd need an easy way to change the tea leaves but I'm sure you could work something out.

Just run Orthos DC before you want your tea ;)

Are your mugs of tea so huge that you really need to take so long drinking it that it needs to be kept warm?!

You could just buy a teapot. More tea and keeps the heat in, old fashioned I know but...

prob works somewhere where there busy so don't get timefor there tea straight away.

Buy a cheap as chips socket 478 board, even if its dead, longs as it powers the cpu, get a dead Prescott or a live one, dosen't matter longs as the cpu warms up:D Use no heatsink or a low profile one with no fan, perfect hotplate! :p Acts as a heater in winter too! Bonus if the board works and you can get in the bios to overvolt the cpu to make things hotter! Just remember to keep the mug on there constantly as if you remove it for too long the cpu might go into thermal protection!

buy a metal bin add sticks and fire, place another bin upside down ontop of it, place tea cup on top, hey presto

*only use in well ventilated areas*

you could also use it for marshmellows

buy a cheap as chips microsave. Theres plenty in supermarkets for under £20 !

You could mod it and stick some 3 spoke alloys on it, a spoiler, MAX Power stickers, a couple of naked women, smear it with garlic saurce, wack on some neons, even some 6 B 9s and 4 B 2's etc etc etc

Could even put some 1337 vauxhall Corsa 1.0GSi badges on it........the women love that!

I think there's a 5'25 bay pullout tray/cup warmer strange but true.
I heat my house off my ds3 chipset.

Yep, made under many brands such as Teac, Sony, LG, samsung etc.. the X Thermal rate is also usually printed, 44x, 56x, 16x etc..

lol even if u could get a case big enough and yada yada, would you not get some 'spill' microwaves going into your machine? and i bet computers + microwaves dont go well together
or does it not work that way?
